Product Rocket SRL (“we”, “us”) operates the website https://productrocket.ro. We are a design and digital strategy studio based in Iași, Romania. This notice explains how we handle your personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Romanian law.

3. What data we collect

We only collect data that you give us or that we need to run the site and provide our services:

  • Contact form and enquiries: name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and the content of your message.
  • Website use: when you visit our site we may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. We use this to run and improve the site and to analyse usage in an aggregated way.
  • Communications: if you email us or contact us via social media, we keep the content and your contact details so we can reply and keep a record of our relationship.

4. Why we process your data

  • To respond to you: when you send an enquiry or use the contact form, we process your data to answer and, if relevant, to discuss a project. This is necessary for taking steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or for our legitimate interest in running our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To perform a contract: if we enter into an agreement with you, we process data needed to deliver our services, invoice, and communicate. This is necessary for contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To improve the site: we may use usage data in an aggregated form to understand how the site is used and to fix issues. This is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Where you consent: for any optional processing (e.g. marketing emails, if we offer them), we will ask for your consent and you can withdraw it at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5. How long we keep data

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • Enquiries and contact messages: until the matter is closed, and for a short period after for possible follow-up or legal claims.
  • Contract-related data: for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law (e.g. tax and accounting).
  • Technical and access logs: for a limited time (e.g. a few months) unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons.

After that we delete or anonymise the data.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15).
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16).
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data in certain situations (Art. 17).
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data in certain cases (Art. 18).
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where applicable (Art. 20).
  • Object: object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Complain: lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania: ANSPDCP (Bucharest, Bulevardul General Gheorghe Magheru 28–30, sector 1, anspdcp@dataprotection.ro).

7. Security

We put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. We only work with service providers (e.g. hosting) that commit to protecting personal data in line with GDPR.

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functioning (e.g. preferences) and, if we use analytics, to understand how the site is used in an aggregated way. Where required by law we will ask for your consent for non-essential cookies. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies; some features may not work correctly if you do.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the current version on this page and, for important changes, we may notify you where we have your contact details and the law requires it.
